The vessels by air should fly...
Have you ever heard of the danger to the boats, huge bubbles of gas caused by submarine eruptions? The ships don't float on air. They sink. The balloons float, but I would hate to land in one of these if decorative baskets wicker. Travel ball may seem like fun, even if it is at the mercy of the elements. Want to land in Paris, but being in the swiss Alps must not be attractive to personalities of their own. The early balloonists did not have a weather forecast satellite. It is interesting to note that, in 1920, the balloon pilots were recruited in the navy. Their vessels air contained anchors and ballast. The Zeppelins had even telegraphs, bridge, and a wheel bar on the spacious command bridge.
